“WONDERFUL WORK”
“I was totally amazed at the quality of work.....I had old crinkly, yellow photos that were turned into amazing works of art. I was shocked at the amount of detail that Roberta was able to restore from these historical photographs. My Great Aunt Amy would be proud.”

Sample Project #1:

After

Original Size - 3.75” x 2.25”

Print Size - 15” x 9”

Original Size - 3.75” x 2.25”

Our client found an old book of photographs taken by a relative of Gloucester, Lexington, and Sudbury, MA in the 1920’s. The photos were glued to thick, non-acid free, black pages of a photo album.  The composition and subject matter of the photographs was outstanding, but unfortunately due to their age, were yellowed, pitted, and creased.

Our client wanted to restore and enlarge these historical photos to display and sell in their Black Whale Gallery located in Hyannis, MA.  After restoration, we choose to print these historical photos on Crane’s  Museo Max paper.  The matte, smooth, slightly off-white nature of this paper lent itself perfectly to these historical prints.

Before

Print Size - 19” x 15”

Print Size - 9.5” x 15”

Original Size - 2.3” x 3.75”

“PERFECTION”
Roberta managed the restoration of a 106 year old historic print for use in our renovated library. Her work was flawless and as equally important to me, her personal commitment to seeing the project successfully completed went well beyond the scope of what one would normally expect from a supplier. She was a pleasure to work with and I would use her services again with no hesitation.

Sample Project #2:

Our client wanted to reproduce a pen and ink historical map of the libraries of Massachusetts.  The framed print would ultimately reside in the new town library.  The Boston Public Library provided our client with a digital image of the original 1904 map. Unfortunately, the original was creased, yellowed and soiled and the digital image reflected these shortcomings.  We restored, enhanced, and enlarged the image of the original map.  After restoration, we chose to print the historical map on Crane’s Museo Textured Rag paper.  This heavy, textured paper lent an old-world flavor to already historical image.
